The Seventh-day Adventist Church in northern Peru annually performs different actions of solidarity and love for others, and December was no exception. Members from different local churches, along with their ministries, put on the “More Love at Christmas” t-shirts and shared hope.
More Love at Christmas is an initiative carried out annually by thousands of Seventh-day Adventists in South America, with the purpose of serving society, putting into practice the principle of loving one’s neighbor, taught by Christ.
In northern Peru, they delivered food, donations, toys, and food baskets, creating bonds of friendship with the beneficiaries. In addition, they got to know and identify their real needs through this project.
Church institutions such as Adventist Education also joined in, and together with their students and teachers, they were a blessing in their communities. In addition, the Adventist food industry "Union" shared healthy products with more than 300 people.
Like every year, the staff of the administrative headquarters of the church in northern Peru visited four families in need on Thursday, December 22, giving out missionary books and generating smiles and hope in the beneficiaries.
