The Club Ministry Mentors Convention is held annually in the fall in Moldova. This event is organized by the Youth Ministry Department in order to exchange experience between the existing clubs and improve the qualifications of working mentors. 80 mentors and ten team members learned new methods of ministry over the course of three days and were well-charged for ministry.

The meeting of the leaders of the club ministry began with the "launch" of the rocket, symbolically reflecting the launch of all clubs to serve the children. The rocket model and a special counting-room made everyone laugh a little, but made it clear that it was time for active service.

Each element of the program was prepared so that the mentor could take for themselves a variety of ideas for the work of the clubs.

It was especially interesting to listen to the experiences of clubs that did not suspend their activities during the pandemic. For example, the Pathfinder clubs in the cities of Balti and Vulcanesti not only conducted classes in different formats but also managed to organize small camps for children.

The story of what they managed to accomplish during the challenging year of 2020 inspired other clubs to resume their activities. The new seminars and specializations heard will help mentors continue their ministry in interesting ways.

One of the main tasks of the Youth Ministry Division is to form Christian leaders for the communities. Therefore, seminars such as "Christian Leader," "Emotional Intelligence," "Reflection," and specializations "Endangered Animals," "Parrots," and "Orchids" were proposed for discussion. Each specialization was clearly demonstrated, and colorful presentations helped those in attendance to better grasp the information.

Pastor Ivan Plamadeala was invited to the meeting as a chaplain. His sermons inspired young people to be faithful to God and become a generation that will do everything possible to quickly enter "Canaan."

On the last day, when it became warmer on the street and the sun came out, all the participants took a walk along a forest trail, demonstrating their knowledge in practice and thereby passing the exam.

We thank God for the young people, for their initiative and support for club ministry in local communities. The youth ministry team is grateful to all the volunteers who became part of the team and helped organize this event.
