On July 6, 2025, at the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session, delegates voted in favor of Adventist Review Ministries reverting its name to Adventist Review.
Adventist Review was launched at Advent Review and Sabbath Herald by church co-founders James and Ellen G. White, prominent figures in the early Seventh-day Adventist Church, and is the denomination’s longest-running publication.
The motion prompted no discussion among delegates.
The motion read:
“To change the name of the entity Adventist Review Ministries to Adventist Review (Item 129).”
The vote passed by a show of voting cards.
