A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, on August 15, resulting in 91 fatalities.

Adventist Rapid Response (ARC) Indonesia mobilized to raise funds to assist affected communities. Initially, aid efforts focused on Nagekeo—the epicenter of the earthquake. Numerous homes were damaged, and many lives were lost in the community.

Support for ARC Indonesia's humanitarian initiative came from various parties, including donors abroad. As support grew, ARC Indonesia expanded the reach of its services.

Victor Tampubolon, ARC Indonesia field coordinator, working under the coordination of Eko Kurniawan, ARC chairperson, extended aid distribution to cover four affected villages.

ARC Indonesia extends its appreciation and gratitude to all donors and members of the public who have supported this humanitarian initiative. It is hoped that the assistance provided will help alleviate the burden on survivors and offer hope amidst a situation that remains challenging.
