More than 250 Seventh-day Adventist leaders from around the world are gathering at the Adventist world headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, for one of the church’s top annual business and planning meetings. The Spring Meeting of the executive committee, set to begin April 17, will consider a broad range of issues impacting the international church, including financial statements, major changes to the church’s administrative structure in Africa, and a review of the church’s remuneration philosophy.
The meeting, which will run through April 19, brings together administrators, pastors and laypeople from each of the church’s 12 Divisions, or administrative districts.
Adventist News Network will provide daily coverage of the discussions, reports, and decisions of Spring Meeting. View news stories, photos, and video clips at www.adventist.org.
