The board of directors for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA) voted at its annual meeting to establish a regional office for the continent of Africa.
The board of directors for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA) voted at its annual meeting to establish a regional office for the continent of Africa.
This office will provide administrative oversight and program coordination in order to increase local capacity to deal with a range of needs. Anticipated to open in early January, the new office will be located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Goran B. Hansen was appointed regional vice president for Africa. He currently serves as country director for ADRA Uganda. Other appointees include Milton McHenry as associate director for planning, and Goodwell Nthani as director of finance.
