On June 12, 2025, ADRA Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the charitable organization “Step with Hope,” based in Dnipro. The agreement formalizes a partnership to coordinate humanitarian response efforts across the eastern, southern, central, and western regions of Ukraine.
The collaboration aims to jointly implement charitable initiatives that assist individuals and families facing challenging life circumstances. Areas of focus include support for children, youth, and the elderly, as well as the development of leisure programs, educational activities, and volunteer projects.
In addition to humanitarian assistance, the partnership will emphasize programs that promote human rights, access to healthcare, gender equality, environmental protection, and healthy lifestyle habits. The partners also plan to strengthen informal education and community engagement through various initiatives.
As part of the agreement, ADRA Ukraine and “Step with Hope” will provide integrated support—including social, legal, psychological, material, and financial assistance—to individuals in need across the country.
The Ukrainian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists continues to support humanitarian outreach through its various ministries and partners, including ADRA Ukraine. Despite ongoing challenges in the region, the Church remains committed to serving communities in need and upholding the Adventist mission of compassion, health, and hope.
