Once a week, a 10-year-old boy and his mother organize the living room of their home to receive other children from their neighborhood to offer them Bible studies. They are Jhosep Carrión and his mother Teresa, members of the “La Encantada” Seventh-day Adventist Church , located in the Villa El Salvador district in the city of Lima, Peru.

After going through a challenging period due to family problems; Teresa says that God helped them get ahead and that the Adventists from her church constantly came to visit them to pray for her situation. Meanwhile, they persevered in their faith and began their Bible studies. Jhosep then began attending the Adventurer Club first. He is currently a Comando de Jesús (Jesus' Command) Pathfinder Club member in the Villa El Salvador E district, part of the South Central Peruvian Mission administrative headquarters of the Adventist Church for the south of Lima and other cities in Peru.

Jhosep continues putting Christ's method into practice, and his little neighbors arrive home in good spirits, among them Yanira, Michael, and Alexandra, who decided to give their lives to God through baptism after receiving Bible studies. The parents of these children are not Adventist members; however, they support their children knowing more about God, make positive comments about the study topics, and have also begun to be interested in attending church.

"I feel very happy. I like to preach and teach my friends about the word of God," says Jhosep Carrión, who, as an adult, wants to follow the example of Adventist preachers.

Jhosep learned about the Evangelismo Kids (Evangelism Kids) project through Sabbath School classes at the church. His teacher saw in him qualities to preach and share the word of God, which is why she encouraged him to be part of this church strategy that seeks to develop children's spiritual gifts for the fulfillment of the mission.

With his parents' consent and family support, Jhosep continues to develop as an evangelist. “My little son, at his young age and according to what he knows, is sharing the message that the Lord is coming soon. The whole family supports him,” his mother said happily.
