Poland’s President Aleksander Kwasniewski has expressed his commitment to a “continued development of democratic values, and especially tolerance and religious freedom, in our society.” In a letter sent to the National Conference of Adventist Ministers,  Kwasniewski expressed his appreciation for the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission that aims at “enriching the spiritual wealth of the society” through “religious, as well as moral and social values.” He singled out the Adventist Church’s involvement in promoting healthy lifestyles. The national conference, which ran from September 9 to14 in Podkowa Lesna, was attended by one hundred ministers and local church elders from around the country.
