Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, the Christian radio station and media network affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has entered a new phase of development following its official recognition as an institution during a board meeting of the Paraguay Union of Churches Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, held March 10, 2026.

The decision, approved during an administrative session, formalizes the operation of Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay as an institutional entity. Church leaders say the move consolidates more than two decades of communication ministry in the country and strengthens its mission to share messages of hope through media platforms.

According to project leaders, the recognition marks the fulfillment of a goal more than 20 years in the making and creates new opportunities to expand outreach through radio, television, and digital media.

A new phase for the ministry

Carlos Zurita, director of Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, said the institutionalization will support continued growth and expansion into new areas of the country.

“We are confident that this historic day will be remembered as the beginning of a story that is being built by consolidating this ministry. And the challenges we face in this new era are to continue growing in reach and in the quality of the content we produce,” he stated.

Future plans include extending radio coverage to areas where the network is not yet present and developing locally produced television programming.

Ministry growth in Paraguay

Analía Martínez, coordinator of Radio Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, described the recognition as both a milestone and a responsibility.

“It is an immense joy for the team and a reason to thank God because it is an important and historic step. It reflects the growth of the ministry and our desire to continue bringing the message of hope,” he emphasized.

She also highlighted initiatives such as the Bible School and the Ángeles de Esperanza (Angels of Hope) project, which have contributed to connecting with individuals interested in learning more about the Bible.

New communication projects

As part of this new phase, the team is also developing new audiovisual content. Dilsiane Arco, television coordinator for Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, said plans are underway to produce a locally developed television program in 2026.

The program, currently in development, will focus on health topics and aim to provide practical content to support viewers’ well-being.
