The “House of the Future,” a welfare and development center for children with disabilities, recently held a graduation ceremony in the city of Khashuri, Georgia.

The center has maintained a longstanding relationship with the local church, whose team visited the facility. In preparation for the visit, the children organized and performed a concert, which included Georgian folk songs.

The graduation program served as the culmination of The Greatest Journey children’s Bible lesson series. The curriculum is designed to be engaging and educational, with the goal of enriching the knowledge and development of participating children. Parents were also involved in the learning process, supporting their children throughout the course.

According to organizers, while the church has held multiple graduation ceremonies in the past, this particular event stood out for its emotional significance. Children received certificates, graduation caps, and New Testaments during a red carpet presentation. For some, the walk across the carpet required assistance, either in wheelchairs or with help from parents.

Organizers described the event as uplifting and joyful, noting that the children’s enthusiasm left a strong impression on all attendees. As participants said their goodbyes, many expressed the hope of meeting again in the future.
