Young Adventists in the Inter-European Division attended the IMPACT youth congress, a special event for the Adventist Youth of the French & Italian Swiss Federation (FSRT) and for the Franco-Belgian Union.

Like every two years, the youth gathered in Montluçon, in the heart of France, to share a few days together and experience unique moments. After 800 participants attended IMPACT 2022, this year, the organizing committee had to look for new spaces to welcome the 1,400 young people registered.

Pastor Léo Lopez, special guest of this congress, shared daily reflections encouraging the participants to look beyond, "allowing our Lord to become our mirror in our relationship with ourselves and our filter in interactions with others, recognizing the presence of His Spirit at one’s side every day, and always reminding us that, with Jesus, everything is possible."

Workshops, conferences, worship, and sports, along with a concert and an evening of games between the various areas, all enlivened the weekend.

“Yes, it sounds like an enriching experience,” affirmed Noelia Burgos, youth leader for the Swiss Adventist Youth, “[and] the good news is… IMPACT will return in 2026 and we will return more motivated (and more numerous) than ever. If you didn't have the chance to participate this year, don't miss the next opportunity,” concluded Burgos.

More about Impact
The IMPACT Youth Program aims to foster community service, personal growth, and spiritual enrichment among Adventist youth. Designed for individuals aged 18 to 30, the initiative offers a platform for participants to engage in evangelistic activities, workshops, and praise and worship sessions, all while forging meaningful connections and friendships.

Participants in the IMPACT program are given the opportunity to make a tangible difference in their local communities, thereby equipping them with the experience and motivation to continue serving others in the name of Jesus. Organizers stress the importance of this hands-on approach, believing that it not only impacts the communities they serve but also instills a lasting commitment to service in the participants.

Open to all young adults in the specified age group who are seeking to make a significant "IMPACT" in their world through the teachings of Jesus, the program focuses on creating a global network of young, motivated Adventists ready to spread goodwill and devotion.
