Directors of the White Estate were the principal contributors of The Gift of Prophecy Adult Bible Study Guide, to be used during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Each quarter, Seventh-day Adventist church members around the world study the same topics, following lessons presented in the Adult Bible Study Guide. During the fourth quarter, running from September 26 to December 25, prophecy will be the main theme, including contributions of church co-founder Ellen G. White.
"The study will explore how God works through imperfect human messengers to deliver messages of hope and instruction to human beings who can no longer commune with Him face to face," said Darryl Thompson, White Estate associate director.
From Sabbath through Thursday, The Gift of Prophecy Adult Bible Study Guide provides biblical insights and principles on prophecy, while each Friday's study will examine how prophecy functioned in Ellen White's life and ministry.
The White Estate website features a special section with links to additional reading materials that are listed at the end of each Fridays' lesson.
In addition to the printed study guide, the White Estate has created an accompanying weekly podcast hosted by Dwain Esmond, White Estate associate director. The podcast builds on the print guide by exploring the key themes of the week's lessons and sharing additional insights not included in the daily guide.
In each episode, Esmond is joined by two other White Estate directors to explore the Word of God and biblical truths about prophecy as a gift.
