The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nha Trang, Vietnam, recently held two outreach programs to provide community members comfort and health education. Volunteers from the local Adventist congregation visited the Nha Trang Hospital on December 20, 2024, offering prayers, singing hymns, and distributing small gifts to patients and their families.

Organizers say the visit brought a sense of peace and hope to those struggling with illness, reflecting a passage from the Bible, Numbers 6:24-26, which promises blessings and grace. Hospital staff and families expressed gratitude for the compassionate support.

On December 21, the church hosted a health-focused event attended by more than 40 people seeking to learn about wellness from physical and spiritual perspectives. Presentations titled “Biblical Holistic Health” and “Brain Health” highlighted strategies to maintain overall well-being.

A key speaker, Dr. Kim Myung-seok—who has over three decades of medical mission experience in China—provided free consultations, demonstrating what church leaders call a practical example of faith in action. Each attendee also received a booklet explaining Adventist beliefs on health and spirituality, and four participants decided to embrace the Christian faith after the program.

Dr. Kim further supported the congregation by donating a television to the Nha Trang Adventist Church, which members say will be used for educational and outreach purposes. Church leaders credit the success of both the hospital visit and the health event to widespread prayer and community support.

The church plans to continue offering programs combining faith and service to build trust and nurture spiritual growth throughout the region. Church representatives say their mission is to share hope and compassion with neighbors of all backgrounds, reflecting the Adventist commitment to holistic ministry.
