The Mission Department of the Spanish Adventist Union has reported on the results of this summer’s Urban Evangelism Camps, held in Ávila, Zamora, and Lugo. Around 150 volunteers participated in the outreach initiatives, which combined community service with literature distribution, health education, and public engagement.
Testimonies of Impact
According to organizers, more than 2,000 people were reached through various activities. In Ávila, over 120 volunteers took part in “Mission Impact Day,” offering literature, health resources, and personal interaction in public spaces.
Volunteers also reported individual encounters that made an impression. In one case, a young woman named Chus expressed appreciation for a message of hope and for learning how to pray. In another, a young man experiencing homelessness, identified as Alejandro, shared his desire to understand God’s love. Local pastors and members have committed to maintaining contact with those who requested follow-up.
