During the month of September, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in northern Peru, together with Nuevo Tiempo and Adventist Education, experienced a transformational missionary period. The Week of Hope became a relevant moment for these institutions, marking the 112th anniversary of Adventist Education in Peru and forming a joint effort to bring the Word of God to various communities and schools.

In this celebration, people of all ages, from children to adults, decided to follow Jesus. The theme "The Last Battle" guided the month's missionary activities, addressing contemporary realities in society. Each event included special programming with preaching, live music, and testimonies in order to reach friends, Bible students, neighbors, and those who longed to hear the good news of hope in Christ.

The mobilization was massive. From September 23–30, 2023, the administration of the North Peru Union and leaders of various ministries were the speakers in the churches throughout the territory. Inspired by God, they became instruments to take His Word to people in need of comfort.

In addition to baptisms and evangelistic activities, church members also made visits to local authorities to present them with the message of hope, as did the Pathfinder Club, with the aim of promoting values and the formation of young leaders in the community. Free medical campaigns were also carried out, providing medical attention and care to those who needed it most, demonstrating the church's commitment to the integral, holistic well-being of the community.

The highlight of this Week of Hope was that the Holy Spirit touched the lives of 3,500 people, leading them to encounter Jesus and decide to follow Him. The baptisms took place in a variety of places, from rivers to baptismal pools, but in every case, the faces of those who were baptized reflected joy and faith. Now they will be new disciples to bring hope to others. In addition, the visit of Pastor Eduardo Canales, director of Adventist World Radio for the Americas, and the inauguration of new frequencies and spaces for Nuevo Tiempo in northern Peru stand out.
