On July 9, 2025 at the 62nd General Conference Session, the Three Angels’ Messages Committee shared an update on initiative projects across various departments of the global Seventh-day Adventist church. 

Five departments shared how they are using funds from the Three Angels’ Message Committee to share the message to the world. 

Hope Channel International

President of Hope Channel International Vyacheslav Demyan shared the media ministry’s ambitious plan to reach one billion people by 2030. Hope Channel currently broadcasts in more than 100 languages and has 88 media entities across the world. 

Demyan shared his excitement over the three angels’ messages being broadcast in 40 languages. The project inspired Hope Channel to initiate Net 2.0, a digital evangelism project that invites young people to broadcast the message of Christ through social media programming. 

Children’s Ministry

Orathai Chureson, Children’s Ministry director at the GC, shared how the department is utilizing funds from the Three Angel’s Messages Committee to share the message with the church’s youngest audience. 

• The creation of three angels’ messages children’s study guides

• Video resources for children on the 28 fundamental beliefs

• Conversion of 210 Bible verses into child-friendly songs

“Music can powerfully influence our minds to remember God’s word and his promises,” Chureson said.

She explained that resources could be found on the Children’s Ministry website.

Sidewalk Evangelism 

Bledi Leno, director of Global Mission Centers at the GC, shared how the committee funds have supported sidewalk ministries. 

The launch of sidewalk evangelism, an initiative empowering church members to connect with people right where they are – was in New York City to benefit church planting projects. 

Leno described having only a fraction of a second to connect with people as they head to their destinations. 

As a direct result of the three angels’ messages tract distribution and sidewalk evangelism, a church plant in New York City was established. 

SCORE - Supplying Contextualized Open Access Resources for Evangelism 

Almir Maroni, former Publishing Ministries director for the GC, presented how funding from the committee has impacted the SCORE project. 

SCORE was launched in 2021 and is intended to develop literature targeting people in Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Secularism. 

The project has launched 31 tracts, each including the three angels’ messages, tailored specifically for audiences' reference and context in the above religious traditions. They are currently available in 91 languages. 

Global Bible School

James Howard, director of the GC Sabbath School and Personal Ministries department, shared enthusiasm about the committee funds’ impacts on the work of the Global Bible School, an online initiative to bring people to Christ. 

“One of the best ways to share the three angels’ messages is to distribute copies of The Great Controversy,” Howard said. 

Howard’s department is spearheading the “Great Controversy 2.0” project that aims to garner Bible study interests after individuals download and read the book.

Rallying an Appeal

Mike Ryan, the Three Angels’ Messages Committee chair, wrapped up the report by giving an appeal to world church leaders and members. 

Asking delegates to stand, he said, “I want you to be a proclaimer of the three angels’ messages.”
