Solusi Adventist High School (SAHS), Zimbabwe, has hosted a three-day symposium for upper-level Commerce students, bringing together 542 learners from more than 16 regional secondary schools ahead of the year's national examinations.

The symposium ran from July 1 to 3 and drew full busloads of students from institutions across Bulawayo, Matabeleland North, and Matabeleland South provinces—including Usher Institute, Shashane High School, eMbakwe High School, and Bulawayo Adventist High School.

The three days combined academic preparation with spiritual programming. The symposium opened with a chapel service at the SAHS school chapel, led by school chaplain Pastor Kendick Mwanza with members of the school administration, introducing visiting learners to Adventist worship.

The main academic focus of the event was direct engagement between students and senior examiners. Learners took part in intensive workshops in which examiners walked through marking schemes, highlighted common candidate pitfalls, and clarified structural expectations for answering complex Commerce examination questions.

For students preparing for their final national examinations, the value lay in that direct access.

"We benefited a lot from the seminar as examiners clarified to us how we are normally expected to respond to examination questions," said Ebenezer Senda, a Lower Six Commerce student at Solusi Adventist High School. "We are grateful to the school for organising such seminars as they come in handy."

The symposium is part of Solusi Adventist High School's continuing role as a regional academic hub across Matabeleland, offering structured mentorship opportunities to students from Adventist and community institutions alike.
