Adventist delegates elect seven new general vice presidents during the 62nd GC Session.

On July 6, 2025, delegates at the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session in St. Louis, Missouri, elected seven vice presidents for the 2025–2030 quinquennium. The vote passed 1798 to 92.

The elected vice presidents are:

  • Thomas L. Lemon

  • Audrey E. Andersson

  • Pierre E. Omeler

  • Artur A. Stele

  • Saw Samuel

  • Leonard A. Johnson

  • Robert Osei-Bonsu

Each brings diverse experience and a deep commitment to the mission of the Church. Their responsibilities will include supporting global administrative coordination, mentoring leaders across divisions, and advancing strategic initiatives.

The election is part of a wider nomination process taking place during this year’s GC Session. This global event, held every five years, brings together delegates from around the world to make significant decisions, engage in corporate worship, and pray over the direction of the Church’s future.
