Reports from across the North American Division (NAD) are highlighting changed lives and renewed church engagement through Pentecost 2025, a division-wide initiative that paired prayer, community service, and public evangelism. Project leaders say hundreds of local churches and schools participated, and post-event reports continue to document baptisms, re-engagement with faith, and ongoing discipleship efforts.

Sharpe said, “We have hundreds of reports with incredible stories about how the Holy Spirit has worked through members in amazing and miraculous ways to change the lives of many. These stories are important because they provide inspiration and encouragement; they are motivational as we hope to continue the cycle again and again in the NAD.” 

New Generation Church, North Miami, Florida

New Generation Seventh-day Adventist Church held the “We Are Nearing Home” Pentecost 2025 event from January 3 to February 25, 2025. Livestreams extended the series’ reach to more than 58,000 viewers in nine countries, and nine people were baptized.

Testimonies included a young person who overcame abuse and suicidal thoughts and is now serving in youth ministry, a returning member who found the church online and was baptized along with his wife, and a 16-year-old who traveled 120 miles on weekends to attend and later be baptized. The church preceded the series with a week of prayer and is now focused on follow-up and nurture.

Jackson Heights Seventh-day Adventist School, Woodside, New York

From April 14–18, 2025, students participated in a Pentecost 2025 emphasis on the Fruit of the Spirit, led by local pastor Christian Genao (“Chef Curie”). Seventeen students responded to a call to live out Christian virtues and prepare for baptism; five chose to publicly declare their faith through baptism.

Dover First Seventh-day Adventist Church, Dover, Delaware

In May 2025 the “Hope for Today” series combined evening messages by pastor D. W. West with community service that provided coats, sneakers, produce, and health resources to more than 90 families in partnership with groups such as One Warm Coat and First Fruits Farm. Two people were baptized, and 289 individuals requested further contact for Bible study and ministry opportunities. “With follow-up and continued ministry, we look forward to seeing the Lord work in even greater ways in the days and months ahead,” said pastor Javier Scharon.

Eugene Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church, Eugene, Oregon

From March 1 to 8, 2025, the Eugene Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted its New Beginning Pentecost 2025 series, averaging 90 attendees per night. Preparation included seven days of prayer, featuring a symbolic heart on the pulpit where members placed the names of family and friends they wanted to win for Jesus. Outreach included three community lunches. Twenty-nine people were baptized. Follow-up includes small groups and elder-led care for new believers.

Baton Rouge Seventh-day Adventist Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

“Jesus Is Coming Soon,” held in March 2025, resulted in 15 baptisms and one profession of faith. A youth small group had been praying for and mentoring 10 community youth in the months preceding the series; three were baptized during the series, with continued follow-up for the others.

Laurel Lake Summer Camp, Rossiter, Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Conference youth leaders used the NAD’s Momentum Youth Bible Study Series for evening cabin devotions. Counselors reported a “real spiritual atmosphere,” and a dedicated boys’ study group met during the final two weeks. Twenty-four campers expressed a desire for baptism; parents, pastors, and conference leaders received decisions for local follow-up.
