Radio "Voice of Hope" Celebrates its 29th Anniversary in Ukraine

The "Voice of Hope" radio station celebrated 29 years of broadcasting in Ukraine. To mark the occasion, the radio team held a meeting with listeners in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, on May 18, 2024. During the event, they shared their activities since the beginning of broadcasting and introduced new projects.

The leaders of today's Adventist churches in the Bukovyna region and Vasyl Makarchuk, the head of Adventist World Radio in Europe, addressed the team and guests with congratulations.

A charity concert was organized for the participants of the Bukovyna region and about 300 guests attended the event, and more than 750 viewers joined the online broadcast. Together, more than 80,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (approx. $1980 USD) were collected. With these funds, tactical first-aid kits will be formed, which will be handed over to defenders on the front line.

After the concert, the "Voices of Hope" exhibition area and the "Hope" media group were open to guests. All attendees received branded gifts from the radio team. Guests also participated in a raffle and tried themselves as radio presenters in a mobile studio.

Radio "Voice of Hope" is available on eight FM stations in Ukraine and online—its website, YouTube channel, mobile application, and podcast platform. Today, "Voice of Hope" is a 12-hour daily live broadcast during which listeners can not only be inspired by Christian content but also communicate with the presenters and get answers to questions live.
