From April 12-19, 2025, Adventist churches throughout Peru opened to share messages of hope during Easter week, titled "Marks of Christ." There, powerful stories were shared by listeners who had learned about Christ and studied the Bible through the daily programs broadcast by Radio Nuevo Tiempo, a Spanish Christian radio program in South America.

“During the pandemic (2021), I discovered the radio, and it was a source of support for me and my entire family,” says Silvia Correa. “We were going through a very painful time… we had lost my brother,” she confesses, her voice breaking. Then, while flipping through the channels to find something to distract herself, she came across Radio Nuevo Tiempo Perú, which played music that brought her peace and hope.

Silvia studied the Bible through the courses offered by the radio station and has been attending the Adventist church in Jesús María, Lima. Midweek, she arrived at the Miraflores Adventist Church in Lima, ready to be baptized.

"I came because on the radio yesterday I heard the pastor say this was the time," the radio listener says.

Similarly, Rafael Carrizales Rengifo was baptized at the Canada Church in Lima. He recently completed the Bible course "Heaven or Hell."

"Now I know that God exists. Today I walk with a new outlook on life and a different sense of purpose," he said.

Meanwhile, four radio announcers from Radio Nuevo Tiempo Peru left the booth to take their places at the pulpits of Adventist churches and present the message of hope. The radio station invited people to these locations hosting the evangelistic programs, and many people visited the Adventist churches. Some are to be baptized, while others are to learn more about the Bible.

Anthony Araujo, Digital Marketing Director of Nuevo Tiempo Peru, shared sermons which were broadcast live on Facebook and national radio.
