Four Public Campus Ministries (PCM) missionaries have returned home after completing a one-year mission assignment in Taiwan, where they supported local churches and connected with university students through relationship-based outreach.

Koo YuJin (Louzhou), Lim HaHyeon (SanMin), Lim YeHyeon (Shalu), and Hwang HeeEun (Shalu) served from February 8, 2025, to January 19, 2026. During their term, the missionaries built friendships with Taiwanese young adults, operated Korean-language schools, and led small-group activities. Working across language and cultural differences, they used Korean culture–based programs as a bridge for community building and gospel engagement.

To welcome the missionaries home, the Youth Ministries Department of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) met them at Incheon International Airport. During the reception, the department presented each missionary with a plaque of appreciation and a bouquet of flowers, recognizing their commitment throughout the year.

Sohn IlDo, NSD Youth Ministries director, expressed gratitude for their service. “We sincerely thank the missionaries for their devotion and service,” he said. “We pray that the seeds of the gospel planted over the past year will grow and bear abundant fruit under God’s guidance, and that they will continue to serve God with a missionary spirit even after returning home.”

He added that the department plans to convene current and former PCM missionaries for a gathering to share experiences and testimonies, with the goal of encouraging future missionaries and strengthening mission awareness among young adults.

Meanwhile, new PCM missionaries will begin service in Taiwan in 2026. Kim DaEun (Shalu) and Woo HyeonYeong (Hualien) are scheduled to receive on-site training from February 8–13, 2026, before officially beginning their assignments on February 15. They will serve alongside returning missionaries who have extended their terms, continuing campus ministry through teamwork and shared experience.
