Throughout the month of June, the La Carolina Adventist Church in Quito, Ecuador, hosted the School for Parents, which was based on the study guide "Prepared Parents, Children of Character" and was organized by Nuevo Tiempo Ecuador and the church. The event included the participation of prominent speakers and professionals in the field, including Master Viviana Faubla, Master Michelle Hernández, Ph.D. Shadira Procel, Dr. Antonieta Silva, Lic. Elías Yanchapaxi, Víctor Sornoza, Lic. Rosa Maestre, and Daniela Hernández.

During the course, which took place from June 1 to 29, 2024, various current topics on family and child-rearing were addressed, free of charge, with the aim of improving family ties and bringing more people closer to Jesus.

A total of 30 participants completed the training and received certificates. These participants will be visited by a pastor to continue their Bible studies, thus strengthening their faith and spiritual knowledge.

Overall, 80 people attended the School for Parents, which highlighted the importance of addressing family issues in today's society to avoid conflicts at home and guide children toward a life based on Christian principles. Daniela Hernández, representing Nuevo Tiempo, Fernando Landeta, and Paola Coba, coordinator of Espacio Nuevo Tiempo La Carolina, attended the closing of the school.

Nuevo Tiempo continues to support the community through its spaces, promoting relevant and familiar topics that seek to bring more people to know Jesus and strengthen their faith.
