Marcos Faiock Bomfim has been elected to serve as director of General Conference Stewardship Ministries for the 2025–2030 term during the 62nd General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Born into a pastoral family in Brazil, Bomfim credits a series of early-life miracles for sparing his life and shaping his deep sense of mission. He began his ministry in 1986 as a district pastor in São Paulo and has served in Stewardship and Family Ministries for more than three decades. In 2015, he was appointed GC Stewardship Ministries director, following 16 years of leadership in the South American Division.

Bomfim holds a bachelor’s degree in theology, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology, and a specialization in Family Therapy. He is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry degree. His ministry is marked by a strong commitment to helping members grow in faithfulness, financial integrity, and Christ-centered living.

The Stewardship Ministries department educates members on biblical financial management, tithing, and responsible use of God-given resources. It provides resources and training for church leaders and members, promoting a mindset of faithfulness, generosity, and sustainability in personal and corporate financial decisions.
