At 3,825 meters above sea level in the Peruvian highlands lies the city of Juliaca, where the cold is intense, and emergencies never wait. Regardless of the weather, volunteer firefighters go out every day to face danger. In recognition of this reality and their work, the Juliaca Americana Adventist Clinic (CAAJ) donated 30 specially made technical jackets to the San Román Fire Company No. 53.

The coats were designed to withstand high temperatures, smoke, and extreme conditions, providing key protection for firefighters in high-risk situations.

The delivery was made by Daniel Saito, director of the Juliaca Americana Adventist Clinic, and was received by Captain Frisancho Aroco Lui, first head of the "San Román N° 53" Basic Operational Unit. As a result, consolidating the alliance between both institutions for the benefit of the community.

Serving the community

This action also aligns with the spirit of the Adventist Clinic's medical mission, an approach that extends beyond clinical care to impact people's lives. By supporting those on the front lines of emergencies, the institution extends its mission of care to those who protect the community.

Similarly, this donation seeks to ensure that volunteer firefighters have the necessary equipment to face risky situations more safely.
