The Biblical Research Institute (BRI), with scholars from Andrews University and the Ellen G. White Estate, held an International Bible Conference for the Baltic region in Riga, Latvia, September 12–15.

Church elders and members were invited to attend the first two days. Pastors from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania attended the last two days.

The conference focused on issues related to the Trinity, last-generation theology, biblical hermeneutics, the importance of resurrection theology, the use of AI and modern technology, Ellen White's understanding of God, and the Adventist response to critics.

BRI gifted a copy of the Handbook of Seventh-day Adventist Theology to every pastor in attendance.

BRI members engaged in small group discussions with pastors from each country between presentations. The small groups encouraged BRI members to develop deeper relationships with the attending pastors. Conversation ranged from challenges faced in ministry, last-generation theology, and Ellen White's authority to specific questions about prophetic interpretation and challenging Bible passages.

BRI representatives said conferences like these provide unique opportunities to explore important theological questions, strengthen Adventist identity, and foster theological unity.
