Hundreds of people attended the two-week Aulua evangelistic campaign held in southeast Malekula (Vanuatu) in early November.

The theme for the event was “Jesus in Hope.” During the day, attendees visited homes, prayed for the sick, and invited them to the nightly meetings before attending uplifting spiritual programs in the evening. The venue was constantly packed with people.

Hosted in a heavily Presbyterian area, some church leaders discouraged their congregations from attending the meetings—but according to program leaders, many snuck out to attend anyway.

At the conclusion of the evangelistic campaign, 21 people were baptized on Sabbath, Nov. 14. Event organizers praise God for what he did in and through the evening programs.
