Hundreds gathered at the Life Hope Center (LHC) in the Philippines as the “Finding Hope” evangelistic series opened its 10-day run, marking a major milestone in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division’s (SSD) Net Harvest. This initiative concludes the Harvest 2025 campaign across the territory.

Organizers reported that more than 300 people filled the Life Hope Center during the opening program, titled “When Everything Feels Confusing.” The first night highlighted a strong onsite presence, while also connecting viewers across countries through broadcast and digital platforms.

Featured speaker Hensley Moorooven, undersecretary of the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference, presented a message on the credibility of Jesus Christ as Savior, pointing to biblical prophecies and scriptural foundations that, he said, affirm Christ’s identity and mission. The topic addressed common questions and uncertainties, inviting attendees to anchor hope in Jesus amid life’s confusion.

Beyond the onsite audience, thousands more watched through Hope Channel platforms as the program streamed online and was shared across various Adventist social media pages. In remote and hard-to-reach communities, Adventist members and guests also participated through Hope Centers, where the nightly video was downloaded in advance and used to facilitate local watch parties in different parts of the SSD territory.

Arnel Gabin, vice president for evangelism in SSD, emphasized the series’ wider reach across the region.

“Finding Hope is a reminder that the message of Jesus can meet people wherever they are—inside the Life Hope Center, on their phones and screens, or in hard-to-reach communities gathering in Hope Centers,” Gabin said. “As we continue this 10-day journey, we invite everyone to join nightly and to bring someone with them, praying that many will encounter the hope and salvation found in Christ.”

Church leaders said they hope that attendance will continue to grow throughout the series, both at the Life Hope Center and online. Participants are also joining in prayer that the nightly meetings will bring encouragement, renewed faith, and deeper interest in the hope found in Jesus Christ.
