Yuliana, originally from Siberia, spent her childhood and teenage years in Russia before moving to Germany at the age of 18. Raised with an early awareness of God through her grandmother, who had her baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church, Yuliana later explored the Catholic faith. Yet, many of her spiritual questions remained unanswered.

Her turning point came when her mother discovered the Russian-language Hope Channel TV programming, where the program “Pray for Me” allowed viewers to share their problems and receive prayer. Intrigued by the concept, Yuliana submitted a prayer request. When a pastor on the show specifically prayed for her situation in a subsequent episode, she felt a renewed sense of hope. That experience led her to follow additional Hope Channel broadcasts, including “What Do Women Talk About?”, “Facets of Life,” “Antisceptic,” “Revealing the Secrets of Bible Prophecies,” and “The Path to God.”

Through these programs, Yuliana noticed differences between certain Catholic teachings and the Bible—particularly regarding the sanctity of Sunday. Seeking answers, she signed up for Bible courses recommended during the “In Harmony with Yourself” series. Profound lessons on topics such as “What Happens to Us After Death?” and “The Power of Prayer” guided her to a deeper personal study of Scripture.

Equipped with contact information for a local Seventh-day Adventist pastor, Yuliana began studying the Bible with him. In June 2022, she was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Today, Yuliana shares her faith, creative gifts, poetry, and artwork through social media. She posts Bible verses, inspirational quotes, and her own reflections, hoping to encourage others in their journey toward God.

Hope Channel is a global Christian television network produced by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, offering programs focused on health, family, community, and faith. Hope Channel Russia, known locally as “Nadezhda,” is the Russian-language branch of this international network. Through original content tailored for Russian-speaking audiences, Nadezhda presents Bible-based insights, encourages personal and spiritual growth, and provides practical tools for everyday life.
