The 62nd Session of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists opened in an atmosphere of great excitement, bringing together thousands of delegates and visitors from all over the world.
While plenary and worship sessions punctuate the official program, the Exhibit Hall also serves as the vibrant heart of this global event. There, dozens of booths offer a complete immersion in the diversity, creativity, and commitment of the Adventist Church through its many ministries, initiatives, and institutions.
Education at the Forefront
Among the most visited exhibits, the education exhibit illustrates the international reach and academic quality of the Adventist network. Renowned universities such as Oakwood University, Montemorelos University, Loma Linda University, and Andrews University compete to showcase their programs, educational innovations, and training opportunities.
Europe is also represented with the Université Adventiste de France in Collonges-sous-Salève and Friedensau Adventist University in Germany, while Sahmyook University in South Korea demonstrates the educational vitality in Asia. Through discussions with the representatives, a shared passion shines through: to educate well-rounded individuals who balance knowledge, character, and service; but also to form a committed generation rooted in solid Christian values.
Nutrition and Well-being: An Adventist Signature
Another major focus of the exhibit: health and well-being, historical pillars of the Adventist message.
Visitors are greeted by friendly, smiling hosts at food stalls such as Granix (Argentina), Superbom (Brazil), and Sahmyook Foods (South Korea), all specializing in vegetarian and vegan food. Snacks, cereals, natural spices, and ready-made meals made with soy or vegetables are all designed to tantalize the taste buds while promoting healthy eating.
Nearby, several health-care stalls, such as Adventist Healthcare and Total, share the latest innovations in preventive medicine, holistic care, and health education. Advice, brochures, and interactive demonstrations are offered, all in a spirit of service and awareness.
Humanitarian Initiatives: ADRA in the Field
Among the most notable displays this year, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) stands out for its hands-on and committed approach. Housed in a booth that is both informative and interactive, ADRA presents its work around the world, from emergency humanitarian assistance to long-term sustainable development projects.
Visitors can discover the “GoodOne Cashews” ADRA project, an innovative initiative emphasizing local solidarity, community empowerment, and social justice.
Photos and documentation allow visitors to better understand ADRA's tangible impact in the areas of education, health, food security, and the protection of vulnerable populations. ADRA's presence in the exhibition hall is a powerful reminder that faith is also lived through concrete action and active compassion.
Spirituality, Mission, and Culture
The diversity of the booths also illustrates the spiritual richness of the movement. Adventist publishers from around the world, such as IADPA and GEMA, offer Bibles, Bible studies, reflection books, and evangelistic materials in a multitude of languages. There are also booths dedicated to children, offering illustrated books, educational resources, and interactive activities, designed to awaken faith from an early age, particularly with the Heroes booth.
The hall also reflects the global and intercultural dimension of the church. African booths attract attention with their handicrafts and skincare products, revisited from a Christian perspective: sculptures, fabrics, jewelry, creams, soaps, and symbolic objects that rub shoulders with biblical verses and messages of faith.
Technology Complements Faith
Innovation is not left out. Several booths highlight new technologies serving evangelism. Voice translation devices, for example, allow a visitor to speak a sentence in their native language, such as French, and instantly hear it translated into Polish, Romanian, or another language of their choice.
Media: Spreading Hope Beyond Borders
Adventist media also occupy a prominent place in this exhibition. Visitors can discover or rediscover the audiovisual productions of Hope Channel, 3ABN, Sum TV, and Adventist Review TV, which showcase their documentary series, podcasts, youth programs, and spiritual broadcasts.
On the radio side, Adventist World Radio (AWR) showcases its incredible global coverage, broadcasting the message of hope in more than 100 languages. Other regional and international Adventist radio stations share their content, ranging from news to preaching, music, and testimonies. These media, both traditional and digital, demonstrate the church's commitment to communication to reaching millions of people around the world.
A Global and Inspiring Celebration
This exhibition hall is much more than just an informational space. It is a place to meet, discover, and celebrate Adventist diversity. From food to technology, from education to culture, each booth reflects a facet of the church's spiritual, social, and missionary commitment. It also embodies a vision: that of a world transformed by the gospel in all spheres of life.
Whether you're curious, a believer, or a committed participant, there's an encounter to be experienced and a message to be heard in this hall. That of a faith in action, universal, embodied ... and resolutely focused on the future.
