From the heart of Malaita Province, a wave of spiritual revival swept across Namorako Village during a recent evangelistic campaign led by the Namorako Seventh-day Adventist Church in collaboration with Redeemed Praise Ministry from Honiara.

Held from June 22 to July 5, 2025, under the theme “Sharing Hope in This Hopeless World,” the outreach program shared messages of hope, love, and end-time truth with residents of Namorako and neighboring communities, including Stoney Ridge and California Village.

The meetings were conducted by retired Adventist evangelist Kemuel Mauta, whose messages drew widespread interest. By the conclusion of the campaign on Sabbath, July 5, 25 individuals were baptized, including two former members of the South Sea Evangelical Church who embraced the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

Community Engagement and Discipleship

The campaign involved not only preaching but also active support from local ministries. Redeemed Praise Ministry, Eastern Heralds Ministry, and As One Ministry contributed to praise and worship, Bible study facilitation, and prayer support. Local Bible instructors and lay members provided ongoing spiritual guidance to baptismal candidates.

To strengthen local leadership, Mauta also conducted discipleship and leadership training for church officers and youth leaders, aiming to equip the Namorako Church for continued spiritual growth and service.

On Sunday, July 6, outreach continued through a visitation program that reached families in Namorako, Stoney Ridge, California Village, and the outskirts of Arabala Village. Many residents heard the Adventist message for the first time during these visits.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the campaign became a spiritually uplifting experience for the community. Organizers reported that many attendees—particularly youth—were inspired to deepen their faith and trust in Christ.
