Two groups were trained at Zaoksky Adventist University (ZAU) in digital evangelism methods, using new technologies and online tools to share the gospel and serve people. The first group consisted of six young women preparing to participate in the One Year in Ministry project, implemented by the Youth Ministries department of the Euro-Asia Division.
After exploring various areas of missionary work and practicing digital tools for evangelism, the participants traveled to Kazan, Russia, to apply their knowledge in work with the community.
The second group included 47 pastors undergoing training at ZAU during the latest distance-learning session. Having acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the ministers learned principles of digital evangelism and were inspired to offer prayer, spiritual support, and Bible study through online channels, inviting people to participate in worship services.
Organizers noted that in an era of rapid technological advancement, the internet opens new horizons for the Church to share the hope of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
