Church Reaffirms Focus on Mission and Commitment to Bible Teaching

In online meeting, Adventist Church administrators reinforce emphases for coming years

Faced with a scenario of relativization of the biblical text, the Seventh-day Adventist Church continues to reaffirm the importance of in-depth Bible study. This involves, among other things, the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, which leads more people to understand the messages recorded in its pages.

Involving more people willing to teach others about the Bible is just one of four emphases for the denomination for years to come, which were recently detailed in a live conversation with Adventist Church administrators for eight South American countries.

Over the course of approximately an hour, Pastors Stanley Arco, Edward Heidinger, and Marlon Lopes also explored plans for Sabbath School and small groups, with attention to younger generations and seniors.

Within each of their areas of expertise--presidency, executive secretary, and financial direction, respectively--they presented numbers, practical examples, and challenges that help justify and strengthen the work of the church.
