Day six of the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session opened with a devotional by John Bradshaw, president of It Is Written, a Seventh-day Adventist media ministry under the North American Division (NAD). 

In a message titled “The Sign,” Bradshaw encouraged world church leaders to recognize where the world stands in relation to the prophetic timeline upheld by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Bradshaw emphasized the importance of responsibly proclaiming the Word of God, urging believers to lean on biblical truths and avoid sensationalism.

To promote following the Bible, he cited a simple reason to uphold the seventh day as the Sabbath. 

“There is no intellectual or moral reason for keeping the Sabbath, other than Christ wrote about it with His finger,” Bradshaw said.

Morning devotionals at GC Session begin each day at 8:30 a.m. EST inside the Dome at the America's Center and conclude with a 25-minute prayer session for delegates.

Today’s prayer session was led by Samuel Telemaque, director of the Sabbath School department and Adventist Mission in the Inter-American Division, and his wife, Elvetha Telemaque. 

Bradshaw will continue to lead morning devotionals during this year’s Session.
