Adventists Distribute More than Half a Million Books and Reach Places Without Adventist Presence in Bolivia

The Adventist Church mobilized to bring the book "The Great Controversy" to more people and places in the country.

From March 16 to 23, 2024, the Adventist Church in Bolivia mobilized with the Impact Hope (Impacto Esperanza) program, distributing more than half a million copies of The Great Controversy by Adventist pioneer Ellen White, throughout the national territory.

Adventist Education began this activity by mobilizing students and teachers to distribute the books. In the city of Santa Cruz, the students delivered the missionary book to the local police department.

In the city of La Paz, the books were delivered in the Callapa area, with the purpose of planting two future churches. Large rallies, parades, and motivational programs were organized in the different regions, reaching public schools, and different municipal authorities.

For the mass distribution of the books, each region carried out different actions to disseminate this delivery, from press conferences, visits to the media, authorities, mass programs, and the delivery of the book house to house.

Commitment to the Initiative

The office staff of the Adventist Church in Bolivia's administrative headquarters, the central region, and local institutions moved to the town of Totora, a town where there is no Adventist presence, to deliver more than three thousand books with the focus of planting a church in this municipality.

In the western-southern region of the country, more than two thousand books were delivered in the town of Machacamarca by the office staff of the administrative headquarters of the city of El Alto.

The Nuevo Tiempo Bolivia network, together with the Communication Departments of the administrative headquarters, promoted this great event through radio, television, and social networks, reporting all the events and the impact on the population.

Between 2023 and 2024, the Adventist Church in Bolivia delivered more than 1 million The Great Controversy books, leaving a message of motivation and hope in Bolivian homes.
