More than 5,500 Seventh-day Adventist young people from across Bolivia gathered from January 28 to 31, 2026, for the “Maranatha Bolivia” Youth Conference. The event focused on strengthening youth identity, spirituality, and leadership.

The program included baptisms, community outreach activities, and an investiture ceremony for youth leaders, reflecting participants’ commitment to the mission of the Adventist Church.

Messages that strengthen faith

The congress featured the participation of international Youth Ministries leaders, such as Busi Khumalo, Youth Ministries director at the Adventist General Conference.

In their messages, the speakers encouraged young people to deepen their relationship with God and to live an active faith. They also highlighted the key role of youth in fulfilling the mission of the Church.

Daily sessions included moments of reflection focused on personal commitment and spiritual growth. In one keynote message, Raso highlighted the importance of personal consecration and service.

Participants were also encouraged to engage in Bible study, with each attendee receiving a Bible and a one-year subscription to the 2026 Sabbath School lesson for youth.

Praise and worship

Music and worship were central to the event. Pastor Ismir Muñoz, the duo ConPaz Compuesto, and the group Alborada Bolivia led worship throughout the congress.

Participants gathered in large numbers for collective worship, reaffirming their hope in the second coming of Christ.

Community outreach and mission

The impact of the conference was also evident outside the Youth also engaged in community service activities, including visits to orphanages and nursing homes, support for animal shelters, and public evangelism.

The event featured booths promoting mission initiatives, including Adventist Volunteer Service (AVS) programs, as well as opportunities for involvement in colportage and other church-led outreach efforts.

Organizers also promoted the use of the 7me application and introduced participants to various ministries of the Bolivian Union, the Adventist Church's administrative headquarters in the country.

Decisions that transform lives

One of the central moments of the congress was the baptismal service held on Sabbath, where nearly 100 young people were baptized.

In addition, many others responded to calls for future baptism, indicating continued spiritual interest and commitment.

A lasting impact

The conference concluded with the investiture of more than 150 young people as Adventist Youth leaders, representing the four regions of the country.

Recognition was also given to Youth Ministries that demonstrated strong participation in 2025, including involvement in initiatives such as the Caleb Mission project, leadership training, and outreach programs.

Organizers said the event aimed to inspire young people to return to their communities with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to mission.
