The Infusion Hope Valdivia Adventist Center of Influence, located in the university district of Valdivia, Chile hosted a week of free wellness-focused activities beginning May 19, 2025. The initiative aimed to promote holistic well-being and community integration among local residents.
The center emphasizes physical, mental, and spiritual health and offers four weekly workshops, each tailored to a different aspect of wellness.

Weekly Workshops Encourage Balanced Living
The workshops provide residents with practical tools and experiences designed to improve daily life.
Participants take part in guided physical activity sessions. These exercise classes are led by trained staff, encouraging movement, connection, and motivation within a supportive group setting.
The center also features a mental health workshop, where attendees engage in group dynamics and listen to talks focused on emotional resilience. Topics include stress management, self-esteem, and practical strategies to enhance psychological well-being.

The center also offers a healthy cooking workshop. Participants learn how to prepare nutritious and flavorful meals, fostering interest in balanced eating and culinary exploration using wholesome ingredients.
Spiritual reflection is also a critical focus. Organized by Adventist Campus Ministries (ACM), the sessions provide a space for worship, prayer, and faith-building. The gathering invites participants to reflect and connect with God in a communal setting.

Positive Community Impact
“The response has been very good,” said the pastor of the Valdivia Central Adventist Church. “Volunteer missionaries have been inviting people throughout Isla Teja and helping them sign up. They liked that everything was practical, that they could learn, and that it was free—plus, the atmosphere was very welcoming.”

According to its official website, the Infusion Hope Center was created to inspire healthy living through practical education.
“Infusion Hope was created to inspire and teach others how to live a healthier lifestyle. We believe that nutrition is vital to staying connected to God. We enjoy life and share hope,” leaders say.
The Valdivia center is part of a broader network of Adventist Centers of Influence that serve communities across South America with programs rooted in the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s holistic philosophy of health, service, and spiritual growth.
