Day four of the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session opened with a devotional by John Bradshaw, president of It Is Written, a Seventh-day Adventist media ministry under the North American Division (NAD).
As delegates prepare for a busy day of Session, including voting new leaders and agenda items, Bradshaw’s devotional focused on the themes found in John 3:16.
“The gospel can be summarized in the two dozen words found in John 3:16,” Bradshaw said.
Titled “The Promise,” his presentation served as a reminder to world church leaders that the Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to bring the “everlasting gospel” to the world.
Morning devotionals at GC Session begin each day with music at 7:30 a.m. Central time in the Dome at the America's Center and conclude with a 25-minute prayer session for delegates.
Today’s prayer session was led by Pavel Goia, associate ministerial secretary, and his wife Daniela.
Bradshaw will continue to lead morning devotionals during this year’s Session.
