The Seventh-day Adventist Church of Rumicucho and the Adventist Clinic of Quito joined forces to offer free medical services in the areas of kinesiology, dentistry, radiology, ophthalmology, general medicine, family medicine, and pediatrics to 245 residents of Rumicucho, a community located a few minutes from the Middle of the World Monument in the Parish of San Antonio de Pichincha north of Quito, Ecuador.

On April 7, 2024, the community was impacted by information about the eight natural remedies and the biblical message provided by the specialist doctors and the Adventist members who made up the health initiative. As a result of this effort, 50 people agreed to study the Bible and understand more about "trust in God."

This initiative was coordinated by engineer Ruth Bejarano, district pastor Washington Guaranga, and the Adventist Clinic of Quito.
