Superbom reopened its industrial unit in the municipality of Lebon Régis, in the interior of Santa Catarina, Brazil, marking the beginning of a new phase in its century-long history.

The factory has been part of Superbom's history for more than 30 years and has established itself as a benchmark in the production of foods such as barley and roasted and ground corn. With the restructuring, the unit will also produce the entire plant-based line and honey line, which were previously produced at the São Paulo unit.

Representatives said the change reinforces the strategic role of the municipality of Lebon Régis in the company's operation, expanding production capacity, strengthening logistical efficiency, and opening space for new stages of innovation in the coming years.

The reopening ceremony was marked with reunions and celebration, bringing together Superbom leaders, employees from the São Paulo and Lebon Régis units, municipal authorities, and representatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Among those present were the city's mayor Marcelo Spautz, the deputy mayor Duda Zanotto, municipal secretaries, the treasurer of the South American Division (SAD) Edson Medeiros, and the president of the SAD Charlles Britis.

During the ceremony, Superbom's president, Joel Distler, emphasized that the moment represents the beginning of a new cycle of responsibility and commitment to the company's mission.

“Our greatest asset is our people and the purpose that God has placed in our hands. Today, we celebrate a reopening. But tomorrow a new responsibility begins. The responsibility of making this industrial unit a benchmark in excellence, innovation, productivity, sustainability, and, above all, fidelity to the mission we received a century ago. It is from here that we will continue producing foods that carry a centennial history and a mission inspired by Christian principles of promoting health,” he stated.

According to Distler, the new phase reinforces the continuity of a legacy built over more than 100 years of Superbom's history, which, after celebrating its centenary in 2025, is moving towards a new cycle of growth and expansion.

Representing the SAD, Medeiros highlighted the historical significance of the reopening and transformation of the Lebon Régis unit.

“We had the privilege of participating in a unique moment in Superbom's history. After 101 years operating only in São Paulo, our facilities are moving to Lebon Régis. From here, we will produce for all of Brazil and even abroad. We praise God for this special moment of progress and for the blessings bestowed upon this century-old company,” Medeiros stated.

Medeiros also highlighted the modernization of the structure and the strengthening of production capacity. "It's wonderful to see what we witnessed today: adequate facilities, equipment being installed, and a structure prepared so that production continues with quality, offering natural and differentiated products, which are characteristic of Superbom," he added.

The São Paulo unit remains operational, housing all of Superbom's administrative and logistics areas.

Representatives said the reopening of the Lebon Régis unit symbolizes the continuation of a history built over more than three decades in the municipality and reinforces the city's strategic role in the company's new operational model.

By centralizing production, representatives of Superbom say it expands its capacity to serve the Brazilian market and strengthens its structure for future expansions, maintaining its core principles of promoting health, quality of life, and producing food aligned with a balanced lifestyle.

Representatives also say this new phase reinforces the company's historical ties with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which for over a century has encouraged initiatives focused on health, healthy eating, and well-being.
