As part of the Hope for Ukraine project, ADRA Romania organized the 74th convoy between October 29–30, 2023. The humanitarian transport conveyed 32 tons of food and non-food products such as books, clothing, and shoes with a value of over €55,750 (approx. US$59,200). During this trip, ADRA Romania enjoyed both the support of the main sponsor, ADRA Spain (which supported with donations worth €20,000 [approx. US$21,200]), as well as the support of the Romanian Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the Life and Health Publishing House, and many others. Thus, the agency was able to send to Ukrainian neighbors 94 pallets with products that were transported in 15 cars.

The 36 employees and volunteers of ADRA Romania met in Chernivtsi with ADRA Ukraine managers and volunteers from several regions. Together, they deposited the donations that will be distributed in the Ukrainian regions affected by the conflict.

Emil Jigău, Romanian Union treasurer, also participated, commenting, "It is a privilege for me to be with all the staff. I noticed your precious work; it is a fulfillment of the purpose that ADRA has.”

Jigâu concluded, “We do not only look to the future, but we are also concerned with the present needs and problems of our fellow men. Your service to Ukraine is an example for the whole world.”

“You are a team with a big heart—a zeal for life to save tens of thousands of people,” stated Stanislav Nosov, president of the Ukraine Union Conference. “ADRA Romania inspires us to serve God in times of war and great trials. Thank you very much, ADRA Romania! May God's blessings be upon you."
