ADRA Mobilizes to Assist Flood Victims in Russia

On April 5, 2024, Orsk, Russia was impacted by severe flooding. As a result, many residents have been forced to evacuate their homes due to the disaster and Russia's government declared the situation a federal emergency. In response, the ADRA Assistance Center, the Adventist humanitarian assistance organization, has launched a program to help residents of Orsk affected by the flood.

During situations requiring humanitarian aid, ADRA mobilizes to aid those who find themselves in difficult situation. In this case, ADRA is prepared to provide flood victims with essential supplies such as food, water, clothing, and hygiene items. In addition, the organization will help restore destroyed housing and infrastructure.

“We are extremely concerned about the consequences of the floods in Orsk and are committed to helping those in trouble,” said an ADRA representative. “Our organization is ready to provide the necessary support and resources to help people restore normal living conditions.”
