The Belém Adventist Hospital maintained the Qmentum Diamond seal, granted by the Health Standards Organization (HSO), which certifies international standards of safety and humanized care.

The recertification was presented during the Mission Motivation Meeting (RMM) on January 15, 2025. Managers from the Adventist Health Network of Pará (RAS/PA), representatives from the Quality Global Alliance (QGA), and employees were present.

What does recertification represent?

Maintaining the Qmentum Diamond seal reaffirms the hospital’s commitment to global excellence. For patients, this ensures safe, personalized, high-quality care. For professionals, it recognizes their commitment to following rigorous protocols that prioritize life and well-being.

“This recertification reaffirms the hospital’s commitment to patients and healthcare professionals. It reflects the ongoing responsibility to innovate and seek constant improvements. This achievement is the result of the daily dedication of a team committed to offering the best possible care,” highlights Raquel Anbruste, Qmentum’s accreditation director, emphasizing that the recognition is a symbol of the ongoing search for excellence and safety in care.

A Path of Excellence and Overcoming

Deputy Medical Director Edgar Sobrinho holds the Qmentum Diamond recertification plaque, while Raquel Abruste, Qmentum accreditation director, presents the certificate to the administrative director of the Adventist Health Network Pará (RAS/PA), Jackson Freire.

The recertification process involved detailed audits and the collective effort of all hospital divisions. Frequent training, process reviews, and innovations were decisive for the result.

“Receiving this international recertification at the highest level is extremely gratifying for our institution. We feel that we are on the right track when it comes to the safety of our patients. We have maintained this certification since 2017, which demonstrates the continuity of a dream that began years ago,” says Jackson Freire, administrative director of RAS/PA.

Jackson Freire, administrative director of RAS/PA, during a moment of prayer, thanked God for his blessings for achieving this recognition and also expressed his gratitude for the commitment of all employees.

Freire concluded by highlighting the impact of this achievement. “The Hospital remains firm in its vision of meeting the highest international standards of quality and safety. These processes involve all areas, from administration to direct patient care. This certification motivates us to continually seek excellence,” he points out.

By maintaining the Qmentum Diamond seal, the Belém Adventist Hospital reinforces its position as a reference in healthcare in Brazil and renews its commitment to offering excellence with humanization and innovation on a daily basis.
