Dr. Audrey Anderson, General Conference vice president, visited ADRA Ghana.

Adventist leaders and Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Ghana welcomed Audrey Andersson, vice president of the General Conference (GC) and ADRA International board chair, during a special luncheon held at the ADRA Ghana office in Accra. Dr. Anderson led a delegation from the GoodOne project, a social enterprise that purchases cashews from Ghanaian farmers at a premium and processes them locally in Ghana, returning profits directly to farming communities.

She was accompanied by Sherry Jackson, director of GoodOne, and Dr. Alex Balint, chief operating officer of GoodOne Global, LLC.

Addressing ADRA staff and church leaders during the luncheon, Andersson highlighted the significance of her visit as Board Chair. She emphasized that witnessing the project firsthand would enable her to return home with "stories about the goodness of God, the goodness of the people, and the goodness of the cashew nuts." She also conveyed greetings and appreciation from Erton Köhler, GC president, who thanked the workers for their faithfulness in challenging circumstances.

Andersson expressed appreciation for the warmth and hospitality she experienced in Ghana. She concluded her remarks with a prayer, asking God to continue guiding leaders as they plan for OneVoice27, a movement calling believers to proclaim the life, teachings, and gospel of Jesus on digital platforms.

Isaac Kankam-Boadu, county director for ADRA Ghana, praised church leaders Adeefe Kwakye, president of the South West Ghana Union Conference, and Peter Kwabena Nyarko Duodu, president of the South East Ghana Union Mission, for their support of ADRA Ghana. Kankam-Boadu noted that such collaboration is essential to advancing the Adventist mission.

Church leaders pledged their continued support for ADRA Ghana's work in the country.
