ADRA Argentina laundry service is active in Tecnópolis neighborhood

Daily service is carried out by members of the ADRA National Emergency Response Team and volunteers equipped with personal protective equipment.

The Adventist Development and Assistance Resources Agency (ADRA) is in charge of providing the Laundry Service in the Tecnópolis Sanitary Park, which is coordinated by the Ministry of Health of the province of Buenos Aires, the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and the Red Cross. Argentina.

The Service seeks to ensure that people who test positive for Covid-19, voluntarily isolated in the Sanitary Park, have access to disinfected, safe and clean clothing. For them, the garments of hospitalized patients are laundered free of charge.

The initiative, which to date has already exceeded one hundred loads, is carried out within the framework of the response to Covid-19 and is financed by the international network of ADRA and LDS Charities.

The team is in the Tecnópolis Health Park after signing a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health of the province of Buenos Aires.

The service is provided daily by members of the ADRA National Emergency Response Team and by volunteers with personal protective equipment. All operators were trained to work in hospital and pandemic contexts.
