A trained teacher, Márcia do Santos, has dedicated her time to a different class. For over 12 years, she has been leading a Bible class in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro. In the space prepared to receive students, attached to the local Seventh-day Adventist church, many stories of transformation have been experienced and more than 80 people have been baptized through this work.

“I love what I do and I do it because Jesus called me to do it. In all this time, I [have seen] so many lives changed! [It is amazing that Jesus uses] people as flawed as us to do this work”, said Márcia.

One of the people reached by her work was Vladimir de Paula. He and his wife learned about the class, attended, and were baptized. Today, inspired by his teacher, he has also become a Bible instructor. “I was baptized in this room and now I have the opportunity to give Bible studies and lead others to baptism,” he says.
