The Petrus Pathfinder Club, in partnership with the Adventist Solidarity Action (ASA) of the Adventist church in the Ponta Aguda neighborhood of Blumenau, Santa Catarina, donated about 20 kilograms of plastic lids and aluminum seals to Sítio Dona Lúcia. The recyclables will be sold for the purchase of feed.

Sítio Dona Lúcia is located in the interior of the city and has already attended to more than 1,300 abandoned animals. The entity depends on the support of volunteers and public or private institutions to raise funds.

The delivery of recyclables by Pathfinders took place on May 21. During the visit to the site, the group took the opportunity to get to know the organization's work and even pet the animals (watch the video here).

They camp, cook outdoors, demonstrate discipline through the united order, and also do manual activities. The project exists in 160 countries and has more than 2 million participants.
