The ADRA project "I want to go to school!" wants to support good, hardworking, diligent children at school who are appreciated by the local authorities and have good academic results, even though they come from vulnerable families and are constantly threatened by the risk of dropping out of school.
So far, 436 children from vulnerable families have been supported.
"I am grateful to God because this year, at the beginning of the school year, ADRA started a new edition of the project ‘I want to go to school!’" said Gabriela Istrate, ADRA Romania project manager. “We fight for education because we know that it is the key that can change the direction of a child from a disadvantaged background and open his eyes to a different perspective of life.”
Istrate concluded, “Through the ‘I want to go to school!’ project, we fight for fulfilled dreams, for hopes planted in the soul, and for the joy brought to the eyes of children, thanks to our sponsors, local volunteers and collaborators.”
