In a daring rescue through a friend of the Reformation, Luther escaped to the castle of Wartburg, where some of his most important and lasting work was accomplished.
In safety and in silence, Luther continued his work for the Lord, translating the New Testament into German and circulating tracts throughout the region to further God’s message.
